Coppa Bernocchi

The Coppa Bernocchi is one of Italy’s oldest one-day cycling races, first held in 1919 and traditionally based in Legnano, northwest of Milan. Its route connects the industrial history of the Alto Milanese with the hills toward Varese, where repeated circuits and short climbs have helped define more than a century of racing.

Around the Peloton explores the Coppa Bernocchi through the territory that created it, uncovering historic towns, local landmarks and the distinctive cycling culture of northern Lombardy while tracing the evolution of a race deeply rooted in Italian cycling history.
