Tour of Guangxi

The Tour of Guangxi is one of Asia’s leading professional cycling stage races and the final event of the men’s UCI WorldTour calendar. First held in 2017, the six-stage race takes the international peloton through the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of southern China, a territory celebrated for its dramatic limestone karst formations, subtropical landscapes, river valleys and remarkable cultural diversity. Its changing routes combine fast urban finishes with rolling countryside and decisive climbs, offering a distinctive conclusion to the international racing season.

Around the Peloton follows the Tour of Guangxi stage by stage, exploring a region where spectacular natural scenery intersects with centuries of Chinese history and the traditions of the Zhuang and other ethnic communities. From the waterways and agricultural landscapes of the Guangxi interior to historic settlements, mountain villages and the extraordinary karst hills, the race becomes a journey through one of China’s most geographically and culturally fascinating regions, revealing the places and stories beyond the competition.
